Great job and pertinent info. I think this means that people should chill out and wait for the facts to come in before they go off and start making assumptions. A clear, logical assessment of the facts as they come in is what is called for, IMO. Assumptions and prevarications about what may or may not happen are entertaining, but dont advance the cause, IMO.

What is needed is proper assessment of all possibilities based on the cold hard facts as they come in. Then we can make logical and unemotional judgements based on fact,, not supposition.

Larry,

Your conversation with Brian Russell leaves me puzzled about something. You state thatHe has conducted hundreds of assays at the American labs and as of yet has not recieved ANY of the results and he ephaticly(sic) stated to me that he has absolutely NO IDEA as to if the johnson-lett process has merit or it does not. Fair enough.

Yet in Carl Campbell's letter as posted by Al C, Carl states It is now safe to say that Al Johnon is indeed authentic. His technology has been closely studied by a world-class matallurgist who has impeccable credentials. This man's reaction, in terms of whether this is a technology worth pursuing, is definitely yes. Let me emphasize that this is not a guarantee of overnight success, or any kind of ultimate success. I am only saying that here is a top-level scientist with first-hand knowledge who indicates this to be a promising technology. Which to me means anyone who has tried to summarily discredit Al Johnson was wrong. Likewise, anyone who did not have the patience to let this thing unfold at its own speed--which includes practically everybody involved--has been misguided.

There is a contradiction here. If, as you say, Brian Russell has said emphatically that as of yet he has absolutely no idea of wether the J/L process has merit how does that jive with Carl's contention that a top-level scientist with first-hand knowledge who indicates this to be a promising technology. Could Brian have indicated the technology was worth investigating and Carl misunderstood this as an endorsement?

You state that Brian Russell is clearly stating that he has as yet received no test results and has given no opinion regarding viability of the J/L process. If this is the case how can Carl Campbell reference him as an authority who has given sufficient endorsement to J/L to change management now and negotiate a deal with J/L now? At best such a conclusion is premature.
