Khahl, <<That works out to about $17 million assuming a wholesale price of $70.

MSFT gets a lot less from their contracts with the PC vendors...could be $20 or less per unit. I would not assume $70 for each of the 250000 units.

If I remember correctly, MSFT has been promising for the past few months to provide a free copy of 98 (when it comes out) to every buyer of 95 -- perhaps they are adding in all the 98 purchases and subtracting out all the 95 purchases for this time period? Just to make the numbers look better? Naah, they wouldn't do somehting like that --g-.
