I could be wrong, but I think it means they've all been shorted already.

Nice steady trading today...like a ping pong ball going back and forth....after initial buy and sell phases took place. Same with other engines. Almost boring now that I am used to compactified swings.

Could be that they are too busy trying to collect from the masses who lost their shorts ('scuse the pun) on YHOO. WHile I am convinced YHOO is wildly overvalued, only a fool would be heavy shorting this one right now.

I called Merrill Lynch earlier, and they stated that no shares of YHOO are available to short.
Anybody have any ideas why?

Oh please. I just shorted YHOO at Ameritrade.
