I remember Fortune called AMZN into question 6 months ago (when it was 30...) on just this issue. As things stand, it is a brand and very little else; technology - bought in, customers - not enough, getting more expensive to acquire and fickle to boot, bricks & mortar - 2 warehouses and a bit of stock. All the other assets walk out the door at the end of the day....
