I hear you there. I sold my substantial position in '96 b/c it was "overvalued." At that time, it's p/e had begun to creep up and went past its hostorical high. Since that time, it has split twice, and is ready for a third. When a company has NM's of 34%, a premium in terms of a high multiple is justified. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Remember, during this past cycle when AMAT eps was low but Wall Street and the market gave it a pe of 50.
