>>not many chances in life<<

thanh, I disagree, there are many chances in the market. IMO, it sounds like your trying to hit a grand slam (a huge rookie mistake). In other words--you may be gambling, not investing, and stand to lose it all--whether in AMZN, or some other stock down the road. That may be fine with you--and the risk you want to take--if so, my apologies for butting in.

(a couple quotes I try to keep in mind: "Wall St. is littered with the corpses of those who were RIGHT--too soon." and "The market [read AMZN!] can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent."

Good luck! Monty

TD,

Well too late (well even at 100 is still a very good long term short) or I could win
big and wipe out the loss. Not many chances in life

There are plenty of chances in life - this is just an obvious one. So obvious I shorted at 138 1/2 and closed the position at the end of the day with a reasonable profit. What if...

I could kick myself now but I don't because the market was highly volatile then with a lot of blood on the floor. It's a much better short now - a few more downgrades will add the icing. Just enjoy it when it gets to 80!
