For all the apparent 'good' news, this knife is still falling. I would wait and see what happens since there is a reason for the precipitous drop. Timing the bottom of this one is too tricky.

peter--

i would love to give you some excellent reasons, but they have been listed far more eloquently by others.

i normally like to buy more of a stock only when i can bring down my avg price significantly. i havent had much of a chance with WSTL, but i have been able to buy more a little below. i did this because for me the investment, while it wasnt the sure thing it was over a year ago, was still pretty good, and i had cash i had to put to work.

i wish i had the time to go into more detail, but i dont. its a decision you have to make on your own...how much money do you want to put into a company that could either be a billion dollar player, or another cautionary tale.

good luck to all,
trey

pete-- interoperability. wstl has the only commercialy available adsl solution that works on digital loop carriers. this is important to the rbocs and keeps wstl in the running despite any deals signed with others. wstl is not dependent on any one chip vendor as some others are alcatel, netspeed. also important on a trading basis wstl is near it's triple bottom in the high eights, limit risk if you add on with a tight stop in the low eights or high sevens. what the hell if dr. tech is right it's hippity hop to the candy shop. joking aside best of luck. fwiw i am a buyer down here
