Who knows? NCES has always traded wildly on low volume. It's possible that some people who held NCES are selling it to buy more NOV. If NOV spins off one or more of its businesses, it would be worth a lot more than $12. But judging by today's action (high volume and only a slight jump in price), the market wants more evidence of NOV's desire to enhance shareholder value. It's about time that the company did something to boost the return to its investors.

I bought more NOV today.
