Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what exactly do you mean short the YHOO 60 calls? Do you mean sell the calls? Doesn't this require that you own the stock, unless you are selling naked calls, which sounds rather dangerous? I'd love to short some of these internet stocks (other than Yahoo, which I actually believe in), but haven't found a safe way to do it.

whats the diff??

when u sell calls w/no prem., you are basically shporting the stock.

if stock goes up, you lose $ for $ just as in short.
