SUBTRACT the depreciation of $113M from the loss. No one pays depreciation

If you will read my post more carefully, I didn't say anything about depreciation. I merely subtracted this quarters capital cost from last quarter's capital cost. That's $314M minus $181M equals $113M. This is the quarter-to-quarter capital cost increase Now I don't think there is plant growth for Flash, Communication or Vantis. This is the increased stuff AMD is buying to make .25u K product - to make 2.7 million units...

By the way, this is REAL money. With AMD's credit standing it was probably CASH money - C.O.D.

Current production rate is nearly twice the average of the first quarter, with no increase in capital equipment.

Are you suggesting the $314M was spent on Jerry's limo? Nice company car!
