I agree with your assessment. This is still a very speculative investment (with the possiblity of being a future blue chip)

Mad: I understand your concerns, and agree that for a company projecting commercially available products by ~2004 its current valuation is a weee tad rich. Enthusiasm has most certainly driven the price to where it is currently.

And all else being equal, your "customer appeal" commentary make's sense, too. BUT(you knew there had to be a but here, eh?) if recent signs of general global environmental deterioration(see today's new's regarding a 2 degree temperature increase in the Pacific--not to mention recent data on the polar ice sheets) are the harbinger of things to come, a.k.a. global warming, then I think that same consumer, not to mentioned our massive industrial complex, will be faced with a very simple choice. Change, or face a radical alteration in yer world. And since I'm an optimist regarding human behavior, me think's we'll make the correct decisions. It's just fortunate this technology is coming on line when it is, as I see no other technology(short of nuclear fusion) capable of supporting global needs.

So although I do think current valuations are rich, as a long term holder of BLDPF(ie. I originally bought 'em waaaay back in the pre-split $20's), I continue to add to my holdings; albeit at the right price, of course. ;-)

Regards!

John~
