Joan, I think the cloning in cattle and sheep have zero relationship to GZTC's Frankenstein goat program. The sheep and cow folks are trying to create stronger, better animals in that category for agricultural purposes. GZTC is trying to clone them to produce milk with characteristics that resemble human goo so they can better carry drugs to targeted cells. The Mice programs at Medarex and Cell Genesys are aimed at much the same thing. Though I like MEDX and CEGE, I think that GZTC is ahead of them in this part of the game. But my guess is, some drugs will work better with goat carriers and some will work better with mice carriers and everybody will get rich.

Now, I need somebody to clone a horse that doesn't run slow as soon as he knows I bet on him. <G> Actually, I kicked buttocks at the track last night. I'm still mad about the $20 they stole from me, but I'm doing too good to stay home in protest. Especially on thursdays, when I am the only person at the track. <G>
