Now companies "miss the quarter" if they don't meet or exceed the whisper number? To me, when "Thomas Meredith said the company is comfortable with second quarter earnings estimates [46 cents]", it means that earnings will be at least 46 cents. You don't agree? "There are a bunch of fools who think the stock can only go up and that nothing can hurt it." Who are these people? I don't see anyone here who thinks "the stock can only go up and that nothing can hurt it". I see people who think Dell is currently a good investment because it's growing at 40-50% a year, 3-6 times the industry average. Why do you "hate Dell with all the passion in the world"?
