DO? Why that's only down a measly 3%. I should be so fortunate to be holding DO.

I'm looking for a strong close today.

Papaya -- I'll be ''owning'' some of those Dec. calls & Leaps - I'm sold.

About 12 times in the last 12 months DO has rebounded over $45 after having fallen below it... With their EPS growth, deepwater presence, contract stability, institutional following and a 2 million share capitulation to a new 52 week low today -- I'm sold. I'll be putting a fair portion of my portfolio's % into LEAPS and Dec. calls into DO, SLB & EVI. I like DO the best....risk vs. reward is not one seen too often.

Crude will not go into Dec. at present price levels - at least that's the ''bet'' .

The post by Puddle Glum ... cinched it for me. IMHO; We'll be talking about this period in the oil sector years from now, as a time that made people both rich (buyers) & poor (sellers)... I do not recall too many times when people have made significant money going with market sentiment .... other than 'net stocks.
