Raymond,

My name is Bob and Steve has been kind enough to let me use his id to speak with some people on this site. I have been observing conversations between you and several people. First, I'd like to comment on the personal attacks that the Christians have been making. I understand their intentions are good and their knowledge base impressive (as yours is also) but I think these personal attacks are completely wrong and are not condoned by our loving God. There is nothing wrong with trying to illimunate people to the truth, but there is no reason to do that in an attacking way.

It is obvious that you are well versed in the Qu'ran and the Bible. You have been arguing with Christians about both books, both sides have "proof" that the other book is wrong. I'm not impressed. Both sides have been voicing opinions without addressing the other sides issues and questions. I do not want to get into discussions about the "errors" in the Qu'ran or the Bible, both sides can produce enough evidence to the "errors" of the other. I personally do not believe there are any errors in the Bible, and I am not willing to discuss your beliefs that there are errors in the Bible. Such conversations have proven to be fruitless. Any topic in the world can be refuted if you go to enough valid or invalid resources to substantiate your point. I do want to get down to basic theology.

We've all lived enough years to recognize the fact that we are sinners and cannot justify ourselves before a perfectly holy God. If you could earn the privilege to live eternally with God, that would imply that God is indebt to you. Basic logic and an examination of our own hearts should reveal to us that there is no possible way God would be indebted to us to give us salvation as our wages. So, the basic question remains, How are you reconciled to God?

Bob

><>...Raymond, you are not looking for proof...><>

that Jesus the Christ is God, because if you sincerely were you would have relented. Many good Christians here presented you with volumes of evidence and you scoffed at it, because you have not the least interest in the Deity of Christ. And that I suppose that is your business.

You stated previously, that your reasons for coming to this thread were
1. to expose people to Islam,
and
2.more importantly you said, was to have people investigate Islam, because you said you cared about where they would end up after they died.

So by your own admission you did not come here to have anyone demonstrate to you that Christ is God. You already had your mind made up.

I too care about where you will end up after you die, and that is why I, as well as many others here, have presented Christ to you as Lord and Saviour, but again you scoff at us......So be it Raymond, my hands are clean.

3And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

You have been given many pearls, it is time for me to cease giving them away, they are too precious to have them continuously kicked back at me.

When God is ready for you He will knock you off your horse, and bring you to your knees in repentance, ...if... you will only let go of the saddle.

John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I pray that you will find that way.
Shalom...><>
