OSTE followed through with its break-out today. Earnings coming out the end of the month. Will probably take profits in the next day or two and hope to repurchase on a pullback prior to earnings release.

Revenues in the third quarter of fiscal 1998 were $46.1 million, an increase of 67 percent over the $27.6 million in the third quarter of fiscal 1997 and an increase of 15 percent over the $40.2 million in the second quarter of fiscal 1998. Net income for the third quarter of fiscal 1998 was $13.9 million or 18 cents per share compared to net income of $9.0 million or 12 cents per share in the third quarter of fiscal 1997 and net income of $12.1 million or 15 cents per share in the second quarter of fiscal 1998. Revenues increased by 67 percent over the third quarter of 1997 and bookings continued to be strong in all of our focus areas. ''On the manufacturing side, we continued to increase production by ramping our wafer fab in Colorado and by enhancing our back-end test capacity.'' EGRP.. I noticed yesterday the MACD was bullish and the relative strength looked 'poised' for a move. Estimated EPS Growth of 42% and a PEG of .86 this one really has room to move. Price is above resistance of 22 3/4 which is good. Note again how the best movers in an iffy market will be the earnings plays. YHOO led the whole group to a pretty good day. FDX was up sharply on a good report, VTSS was up in anticipation of a good report. BBOX up nicely, NEON was up nicely. Some of them that were not up that much like ABT and HELE were coming off nice streaks of strength made in the days leading up to the report.
