I think this newswriter should spend less time on Yahoo! and more time on SI boards. And, either this analyst needs a new job, or she was misquoted: "I think we are in a trend of hitting higher highs followed by higher lows," Ms. Meeker said. Higher lows? Sounds like an uptrend to me (who cares what the highs are doing, as long as the low keeps moving up?). Maybe she meant "lower highs" followed by "lower lows" ... :)
