So what's new here? Sybase has had a habit of shocking the market on quite a frequent basis, although not from a positive perspective. BTW Briefing.com credits SYBS gain to rumors that it will be acquired by ORCL, yea right -- don't hold your breath. I can understand why ORCL might want MANU or VNTV, but SYBS? Where do these rumors get started anyway?

Even if SYBS posts good numbers, fine with me -- just will make ORCL go up more and faster
