Of course I am honored to be your favorite Libertarian.
However the government policies and restraints hurt us much more than they help us.
E.G. The FDA: many more deaths are caused by withholding of drugs that work fine for many (and that should be available to people if they want to use them) than are caused by drugs themselves.
DEA: Many more crimes are caused by the black market set up because of the drug laws than is damage done by the drugs themselves. Prohibition proved that but politicians do not learn from the past, they prefer to give themselves more and more power.
In addition the DEA kills and maims innocent people and noone pays but the public (who did not do the killing and maiming).
Physicians: I wish they were not licensed, and I wish the government would get out of medical care altogether. My physicians tell me that at least 30% of the increase cost of medical care is govt regulations and bureaucracy. I wouldnt be surprised if it were higher. In addition the availability of tax money to be doled out to friends means that certain groups get a hold on what will happen. So chiropracters, masseuses, herbal therapists, etc etc etc who do not fall under govt licensing are not considered care as far as insurance companies are concerned although they are less dangerous for the patient and very often more effective.
These are only some examples.
Best wishes anyway
and Go Dell!

Chuzzlewit, your post #50475 is excellent! And I think we should keep street signs and traffic lights too.

Good Night
