Watch List Differences:

For mine its pretty simple. The subscribers get the new ones, the SI thread has the Long/Bullish List - which are the ones from yesterday that are still due watching for accumulation. Not to detract from my new list, but the long list has better performance on days with continued up indices and during horizontal corrections - something we have had a lot of lately.

My scintillating wit and incisive commentary is still posted here, along with any apologies I need to offer...

That's a good question Judy. The criteria are exactly the same. The scans are almost exactly the same... What I do is take the top twenty on my list and put the first 13 on the Market Gems site which come out with the 'highest' grades in largest combination of criteria. The last 5 or so I put on SI, since technical/fundamental analysis is not an exact science and we are comparing 'top contenders' in the best sectors the difference in the probability rates of their increasing from the #1 on the list to the #20 on the list are minute.

What happens is usually they all have a pretty even chance of being 'hits' since they are 'all' poised for breakout, in the top 98th percentile, and technically/fundamentally superior. A select few are small caps and have had some relevant news that might determine positive stock reaction. This way everyone gets good picks. Subscribers just have a bigger choice, more detailed analysis of daily picks... etc. I think this is the best way to establish both the subscriber area and the free area. Sort of like the free and subscriber area of Zacks, or Stocksmart etc..That is really why I continue to post my daily watch lists.

The weekly newsletter, which has the 'earnings plays' choices are detailed analyses of the best contenders for 'beating the street'. Only subscribers have access to these weekly newsletters. So far as this works, I'll keep it up . If somewhere along the line it doesn't then I'll stop posting picks on SI...in a 'watch list' format.
