Truff, the attraction is called "value". I just am not fond of dead investment money for a year or so for individual stocks, but I would dollar cost average in via a sector fund. Every few months I used to leave a post on the driller thread FWIW.

btw, the DELL chart did not post. Guess it did not work.

Truffulette, few sectors are as exciting for traders as the oil service sector. High batas and high profitability. Right now the deep water oil drillers are enjoying very high lease rates which are locked in for the next 3-4 years. The drop in oil prices will not effect their earnings meanwhile their stock prices have dropped creating value. The real question now is, how long will oil stay this low? The minute oil begins to move up to 16-18 a barrel and stay there for a few months , this sector will fly. This sector is very much like the semi's, moves very fast and makes a lot of money for traders. Beauty is the eye of the beholder.
