...whose early [Windows O/S paradigm in a DOS world along with VisiON] critical acclaim was anticipated/ripped-off/brutally 'innovated' viz a viz <http://homepage.usr.com/e/esecurities/5714.shtml> by MSFT vs. Alpha/Rabins [evolving?] paradigm of not competing head-on with MSFT but making the rare and brilliant? intellectual leap of having preemptively struck MSFT at their own game anticipating MSFT razors for the best selling game[razor] in PC history....Microsoft Flight Simulator....QDEK competed head-on with MSFT out of the gate and continued for 16 years to the present [apparently never forgiving MSFT for killing QDEKs brilliant Windows paradigm]...The Rabins have recognized early-on the necessity for a corporate reorg and restructuring as a holding company...SWEBF is creating [signficant] value/longevity for [particular] MSFT product lines...in addition to creating products/markets which MSFT is no longer in a position to kill but which SWEBF may have the rare option* of selling to MSFTs competition or to MSFT for the highest price...viz a viz HoTMetaL-HMAPPS, WebFiler, NewKidCo, ...

*due to where we are in history, the internet, a level playing field, the destroy MSFT mentality contemporaeous with key players with the ability to compete through key strategic technology acquisitions (e.g. Netscape, Oracle, IBM, Computer Associates, Sun Microsystems, NTT?, Symantec, Corel, et al...), DOJ/Hatch/Nader/Antitrust/State Attorneys General/ climate...
