Mark & Hans-Erik, I have recently been doing alot of reading lately about Software Agent programming and it's predicted impact on network intelligence and Internet information filtering. IBM, Sun Micro, Microsoft, MIT Labs, General Magic, etc seem to be committed in a big way. What has struck me as significant is that the entire spectrum of effort is being implemented in OO architectures and it is only really beginning. I would like your opinions ,when you have time, if you think this is a coming groundswell or am I falling victim to hype and wishful thinking.
