I agree that leading up to next Wednesday the stock could continue its ascent. Last quarter the effective tax rate was 22%. Using that same rate, the reported earnings will be $.65/sh which equates to $.50/sh using a 40% effective tax rate. So anything more than a $.65/sh reported earnings would be super. The more, the better.

It is almost blue sky with the FTC matter moving out of the picture. And Wall Street likes "blue sky" growth stocks with a good story.

Visx and Yahoo share same building, both have a promising future, both have explosively growing earnings, and so maybe Visx should have a market cap that starts approaching Yahoo's. It is hard to put a target price on Visx at this time as the outlook justifies P/E expansion at the same time it is rapidly growing earnings.
