Oh no, the AMD takeover rumors are starting up ... cbs.marketwatch.com

Wonder which PC maker will deny first?

Eery. It's almost like the authors of this article were reading the AMD SI thread today. Both issues of 1. AMD taken over by a PC company, and 2. whether Colonel Sanders would be thrown out were talked about here today. Cool. Talk about cutting edge!

Victoria - Re: "Even Q3 amd get $100 average selling price and sell 500,000 more k9 AMD still lost 24 cents "

You may be right.

Don't forget - AMD spent $17,000,000 on interest payments to their creditors last quarter - and will probably pay them more this quarter!

That amounts to $4.60 per K6 in interest payments, based on 3.7 million K6's.

Excuse me - I meant "K6 Complex"!

Yuk!
