This is off the wall, but imagein if Gateway bought AMD.. they wouldn't need AMD anymore.. then they own Amiga, they might say "****" Microsoft..

Seriously, I don't think a box maker would buy AMD. Why lose money making processors, when you can take advantage of other CPU makers engaging in a bloody price war. A Japanese semi company would be my guess. But if I were one of them, I would buy NSM, instead; to get the analog stuff and the integrated processors.
