Oh I understand Deb but because the market or rather NASD sets the ex - dates there is no way to retro back for the shareholders of record like today, yesterday last month and setting that date as the SOR because it is a waste of time as we all have learned. It is the ex - dates set by NASD that are important.

Lots of people have bought at lower prices than others at the peak and they both got the split if they had the stock day before the exdate. Plus a lot of people sold their stock prior to the exdate and thus sold their split shares with the security they sold. Again it is the rules of the market that have been around for 60 years.

It would not have mattered if it was a dividend or a split if you sold what you do not have you did not have it.

Hopefully the stop transfers will become effective soon.

The market is fair it seems for investors and not real favorable to the short term traders etc. That is why I like being an investor.
