I'd guess a little of both, but there is no good data out there on this topic. Intel's report should help to clear things up a little, although it stinks they don't give info on units.

I've never shorted a stock, so I sure haven't done so with Intel. I think they will disappoint and won't paint a positive picture for the next Q. Asia has thrown a real damper on semiconductor demand and I would be extremely surprised to see Intel unscathed. In fact, I hope they have something positive to say looking forward 'cuz it would help most of my long positions.

I don't think Intel will have good things to say about business.
