Hi Tom,

Rarely watched CNN except when I was abroad. Agreed that greed is "good" as it is the single most important element that perpetuates civilization, at least the material kind.

As to SAP, it's good in a way that the stocks consolidates before NYSE listing, thus discouraging traders and short timers from coming in.

German shares fall as SAP shares lead decliners

"Leading decliners was SAP AG (SAPG_p.F). The firm said that the Asian crisis had a greater effect on its business in the second quarter than previously expectd.

The firm's shares fell as much as 10.17 percent on the news."

Just happened to see that bit on Yahoo Europe. No interest in the stock. Sorry, folks. This is going to be baaaaaad for smaller enterprise software players also.
