rick, stock prices often do not reflect reality. sounds like you haven't been playing this game for very long. all the mu bulls had a field day with me and absurd idea that dram was crashing when mu was $60. well, nearly a half billion in cash losses less than a year later has given those bulls, 1. amnesia or 2. internetitis.

of course, i'm always around. just been posting less in gen'l and focusing on other areas of life. it has nothing to do with gtw at $60 and looking at a decline in earnings for 1999.

of course, the herd doesn't see this. they believe these ridiculous buyout rumors. just like mu bulls believed mu would be making nearly a billion in profit right now. so they were off by $2 billion. ;-)

but, hey, what's a couple billion between friends. ;-)

good luck, but don't confuse temporary stock prices or direction of change with being "right." only time tells that. i expect this gtw story to play out over at least 12 months.

actually, i think gtw meets eps estimates this q. not that this should justify a $60 price. maybe $40 - assuming you believe the bogus growth story. too much cash chasing too few stocks ala alan greenspam.

my friend, ricky boy. seems you gained a lot of weight and lost an eye! so, do you have internetitis or amnesia? your types are real funny. however, i must thank you. your pompous attitude spurred me to buy more puts on gtw and they are very profitable right now and will become more so.

so tell me... how does it feel? crunchy? btw, i hear the zone diet is goo for losing weight and that vision surgery is much better nowadays.

good luck. you are very entertaining and a quite valuable contrary indicator. any more great picks? ;-)
