I agree that Diamonds boards are much too expensive. I have done a little research because I am looking to buy a Voodoo 2 12MB board. Diamond is the most expensive with price ranges from $259-299 depending on where you look,while you can get a Creative board for $220.

Mabye it's a bargain, but I don't see how DIMD is going to pull themselves out of the hole. Their earnings report didn't give any hints. At least with TDFX, I'm starting with cash and earnings and I can see a strategy to increase revenue and earnings. It may not work out, but I think I'd rather double up on TDFX.

P.S. I hope Diamond pulls it out..they make nice products and I hate to see a company that makes good product file a chapter 11.
