Of course all investments are a gamble of one form or another. Savings accounts are one of the biggest losers at this time. Tilting the scales in our favor is the only solution.

In the world of stocks it becomes one of statistics and comparisons. I know that if I properly research 10 stocks, 1-2 of them will be a big loser ( I limit it to 7%)(didn't do that for WDC and APM and took a bath) 5 will do what I predict, 2 or 3 will be fantastic, 1-2 will be below predictions but OK. I only invest in companies long term that are listed with the SEC, issue quarterly reports and that I have financial data on. That narrows it to about 8000 companies. There is lots of money to be made there. I do day trade and have done so with GLOW. I have very little in savings accounts, no bonds. Lots in the stock market.

I always have a firm buy price and set a sell price before buying. Bought 1000 TMO @$30 today almost the low of the day. Fantastic potential.

Social security is a bigger gamble than BB stocks. I do not have any SS and will not use it.
