This plant in Yellowknife is the first commercial semi independent diamond testing facility in the world outside South Africa and Russia.
Dupuis had one in Vancouver that was pretty fair but nobody would trust him. Fipke bought Lac Minerals plant in Colorado but that is Diamet. Cominco used to run one and there is the small on at Saskatchewan Research. Lakefield Research is owned by Falconbridge who may have secret deals with DeBeers, they are not connected with any mines so far and they have made embarrassing mistakes with some yellow drill bit diamonds that can run up to 3 carats. (SUF 1993).

Who runs this testing plant? Do you think that there is any chance that somebody on night shift could throw a handful in the bags there?
