TT - Re: "shall we expect an interest expense
of $35M for next quarter versus $18M this past quarter?"

No - not a doubling.

The $517 Million new debts carries a 6.5% interest rate (it is convertible to AMD shares at real goos price - $37 !). Some of the older debt ($400 million) is paying 11% or 13% interest.

As for AMD - they price their products 25% less than Intel - they are setting themselves up as a TARGET for price competition.

If Intel lowers their prices, they are just "reacting" to market conditions.
