You had some very good points in your post. I especially enjoyed your insight and knowledge on Indy racing. Very interesting.

I will only speculate that the most likely way that TCBG payed to sponser this race car is through issuance of stock. Remember also that Wal Mart was a co-sponser on the car so TCBG isn't flipping the whole bill on their own.

I imagine TCBG isn't very rich with capital resources right now, having been out of the revenue game for so long. It is possible that with some of these deals that they are doing that maybe they are receiving some up front cash payments on some of the retailers orders(of course we know that this won't include Wal Mart), but I kind of doubt it. Who knows, but one thing is for certain and that is if they do a Private Placement or try to get some kind of financing I believe they will have no problem with the business they have lined up.

I'm was under the impression the Indy paint job was sponsored by WalMart.

WalMart contracted the space and chose which product to put on the cars. Turns out it was TCBG this time around.

I'll bet the Indy sponsorship was part of the contract that WalMart and TCBG hammered out.

Just my interpretation. I'll review the 'two-year deal' thing.
