Of course. Hardly surprising to me. I never thought there was any chance at all that that utterly stupid House bill would become law. None. It was about as idiotic a stampeed as I've ever seen.

An outright ban would probably not make sense. However, it would appear that national security and defense concerns need to be given greater weight in future waiver decisions. Putting Commerce in charge seems inherently risky to me. JLA
