>>> I am looking to short this stock if there is any run up towards $3.50-4.00 range. A weak stock in an extremely weak sector is good enough for me. <<<

If the next Buffalo Hills update is not what the market likes, it won't even go to $4.00 until Oct, when people prepare to take a position for the upcoming K14 results. If results are good with the upcoming release, there will be lots of buyers who will squeeze shorts at $3.50-$4.00 including the investment group I am involved with which will spend no less than 1/2mil dollars on Ashton. A friendly reminder, be cautious on your timing. regards Frank

To YC98:What do you find disappointing about the results so far.

<<...so far they have been disappointing for the last 6-9 months>>

Be careful reading to much into this slump. Diamond stocks suffer in the springtime. See Ashton, and others. Stocks always rebound in summer and into fall as results come out. Be careful with your shorting strategy.

Also, be careful about shorting any speculative stocks such as this. Fingers can get burnt. They tend to fall back slowly, but when they move upwards, they often rocket. (Perhaps, due to shorters covering?)
