Take it for what it is worth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The DOJ is leaning toward rejecting the Coherent/Tellabs deal. The DOJ attorneys have been cruising throughout the country interviewing the competition - Lucent and Ditech, and major customers of echo canceller technology. The reading between the lines and the attitude displayed by the leading questions reveals an implied disposition. The negative attitude towards the deal is obvious. Once the deal is off expect a 15 point drop in the days that follow. Do not get excited over temporary daily gains. Be cautious so you don't have to be sorry later. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This doesn't make much sense to me, anyone care to comment? Perhaps the DOJ is taking longer to approve because they do not understand the nature of CCSC and TLAB businesses??
