The only thing to backup is the directory 'qp2data'.
In case of a crash, restore 'qp2data' and install QP2
program again. The program can be downloaded from
qp2.com

You could also backup the daily files at
qp2.com, but I don't
think it's necessary if you have a good copy
of 'qp2data'.

On my NT machine, it takes LESS THAN ONE
MINUTE to copy 'qp2data' to another hard disk.
It's worthy to do backup daily. If you use
Windows 98, it comes with an automatic task
scheduler. You can even setup a task copying
the files to different directories depending on
the day of week. So you can have two copies of
the backup.

Hope this helps.

Clark

Is there anyway to have Q+ update a group of stocks in an Excel spreadsheet? If so could someone give me a run down on how to do it?

Thanks
