John, Roy has previously gone on the record in regard to your question and his response was that he has not received any compensation, etc.

Regards,
Bob

John -- that question was answered a long time ago last year when I was dissected on the SH forum and the answer remains a resounding NO -- neither VHeadline/VENews, Roy S. Carson, any relatives or the budgerigars in their cage on this tropical balcony have received ANY PAYMENT from Placer Dome, Gold Reserve, Crystallex, MinaVenca, MINCA, the CVG or the Venezuelan government.

VHeadline/VENews and this reporter are entirely independent.

Revenue to keep VHeadline/VENews afloat comes from advertising and sponsorship which exercises ABSOLUTELY NO EDITORIAL CONTROL whatsoever. VMI-L -- Venezuelan Mining Information Mailing List -- is also independent although we have rightly concentrated on the only producing gold mining company in Venezuela.

VMI-L Confidential Briefings are currently suspended while we resolve a legal situation where Canadian Stockwatch is clearly in breach of stipulated confidentiality. Considering their track record of bespotting VHeadline/VENews stories and myself, it is quite incredible that recently they have resorted to stealing those briefings and abusing our subscribers' confidentiality -- nevertheless they are very astute to warn their own subscribers about the confidentiality and copyrights of their own out-sendings -- possibly they think that since Venezuela is a Third World country historically exploited by North Americans that they can get away with illegalities. Shades of Placer Dome, don't you think?

best regards
Roy S. Carson
