DaiS, I would never bite your head off--too quick. We lawyers like to start at your toes and slowly work our way up until only the head is left. I have not looked at other ED co's financing arrangements, but I doubt any lender would offer conventional debt arrangements for R+D. The way VVUS would "borrow" would be a secondary offering, which would have an immediate dilutive effect on longs.
