Out of the gate today CPQ is doing just fine 32 (UP 7/16) on over 1.5 mil shares

Good idea. I haven't done too well at timing either, and find that if I have a good stock I'm better off to hold, and only occasionally "sell + buy back at a lower price".

Lucky - *OT*

Congress just passed the IRS reform bill and Clinton will sign it shortly. Key here is that the long term cap gains holding period will revert back to 12 months from 18, effective for all sales beginning January 1,1998. So, if you desire, and CPQ makes a big run later this year, you can sell after 12!!!
