Various relationships between companies have been mentioned in the last few postings, such as Sprint-Bellcore-Cisco, and Bellcore-IIA. Here's another one to ponder. Both Cisco and IIA belong to TARA, the Telecom Applications Research Alliance in Halifax (http://www.tara.ca). I wonder if they talk, or work, together on anything?

On your ISDN connection, what exactly did this involve? Did you need a new wire into your home or did they use the old twisted pair? Just curious. Any time new facilities are required it can be expensive and a drawback to a system using the POTS, as you say, or twisted pair technology.

Cheers,

Don
