Ari was not even horny and he did not need the money. It was a prestige button. But he did want to get the British for cutting off his control of world oil/shipping. The US British alliance defeated him. Perhaps that was his revenge. Bouvier, Kennedy, Bronfman were all eastern seaboard extensions of Luciano's family and booze/gambling/murder business. Friend of mine shared the next cell to Luciano in Dannemora. Told me he (L) personally killed 750 or more and did about 15 in jail with his bare hands. Navy worked with Lucky and sprang my friend to learn sabotage in Camp X, Mississauga. His story and of his 11 other saboteur friends was told in the movie The Dirty Dozen. They trusted him (F) so much that they dropped him into Italy in handcuffs, Italian resistance had the keys! Mostly he blew up troop trains and ammunition dumps. His pardon for all misdemeanours was pre-emptive with pension. Must have blown up the right places. His skills were needed as very few people have had the fine training or the nerve that adheres the common daylight thief.

Makes me think that we should use VSE junior mine honchos to hammer out foreign trade deals. We would live like Kings.

Was Ari her protector from his common enemies? They really didn't like Oakes, Grimaldi or Bertolucci either. But they deserved one other. If you got money hide the skeletons deep and well as they are a powerful lever for the money hungry and the unprincipled.
