Joe swears off slumming, that is, the Yahoo board.

"I'll move up to the next level and go the Motley Fools thread and see what they've got going on there. Do they still exist?"

I watch the Motley Fool boards... the COMS group is pretty quiet... there are clearly people there who are watching us, and learning. I feel sympathy for the "Fool Portfolio" since it owns COMS at an even higher price than I do.

I also joined the Raging Bull, which some tout was trying to promote over on the SI Message Filtering - Pros and Cons #Subject-19253 thread. He was saying that they have filtering (which I have argued against) there, and I went for a look. What they don't have is customers... the COMS board has two posts. Maybe I'll post there, in a while, just to see what happens. They also have ads with lots of cookies... which would be more annoying if I hadn't just installed a wonderful piece of shareware called Cookie Pal, from

kburra.com

which deals with cookies you don't want, and still lets you get cookies you do want (so you can use the United Airlines web site, for instance, which won't work without them!).
