Thanks... Some things just needed to be said - at least for me - I wondered why no one ever brought up these questions for the past six months. Like: WHERE is the site in Illinois that is under construction?????? I never did get an investors package....oh well....I really don't like reading fiction anyway. I asked questions via PM, EM, this board, fax and telephone.... Sometimes you have to risk sharp tongues, name calling, innuendoes and accusations if you ask certain questions.... or bring up unpopular ideas. It shouldn't be like that. Maybe if people had publicly asked even more questions we would not be in this mess. We see it over and over on this board. Sharp, curt, gruff, tart responses to those that question.... they are accused of lack of DD, not being able to take the heat, being a naysayer and on and on.... I also want to say, for the most part this board is an invaluable source of information and DD and teamwork. A great place for sharing ideas and opinions with other shareholders. I really like the concept... except for the posters that seem to have a need to put others down and boost their own egos. I encourage all to post and question....now that we are going into (hopefully soon) another acquisition. We all need each other to explore and research. Opinions are fine...but we DO need to learn from our past and look to the future now. Now that the shell is clean..lets clean up here too. Lets be kind and civil to others... they just could have the answer....unless someone here has a crystal ball that I am not aware of. I think that we also need to make a clear cut difference here between the "dupe" of the Dan Fisher stock escapades and the "dupe" being claimed to be preformed on the Midland Board in the acquisition. They are two separate incidents...but tragically linked now. Like I said in my post.....if it wasn't for the level of apparent _______ fill in your own word by the Midland Board in the beginning - when they were considering the acquisition of Arcon...there most likely would have never been the "dupe" at the end. That's my whole point. I read today where it was said, "I do not see how any of this could have been discovered prior to it happening". Well I hope that refers to the DF stock scam and not the apparent lack of follow-up by the Midland Board on the acquisition. For a few hundred dollars one of them could have hopped on a plane and looked at and touched (not)!one of these sites that were "under construction". THAT is how it could have been prevented! Lets keep the two "dupes" clarified here. One was hard to see... and I thank Gary for catching that one. But the first one... selling a company to Midland that did not exist except on pieces of paper - even though there was supposed to be all of these physical assets....just does not cut it with me. EDIT: Geezz guys......I just went back and read these posts. Pleazzzeee stop the name calling! We look like a bunch of kids.
