Truman. I listened to Brinker's words on this just today as I drove to work. I like how he says he consider's it a natural disaster where we just know when this one will hit. (we don't know the magnitude) I wonder if he got the idea from our past discussion where I said my preparation would be much as for an earthquake where I will have food, shelter and water for several days in my yard with the addition of some cash withdrawn a few days before AD 1 Jan 2000 per your suggestions?

I think his oppinion of the severity of the problem is much like mine and others where it ebbs and flows with the quality of information as well as mood. It is the extremes that worry me....those that predict utter doom and those that have their heads in the sand.

Intersting point. On TV News this week they were interviewing high school kids that city governments' in SillyCone Valley are hiring to do their computer chores (since the cities can't afford the $60-$150 hr. specialist that work for industry). Makes one wonder how well the Cities will fare as well as Europe and other areas.

Prudence is wise, just I warn of Hal-Bop effect too.

results until they have been confirmed by theory."
