You will not see cancellation of rig orders.

The oil companies REALLY have wells to drill. These rigs are ordered to drill wells in water depths that no existing rigs can drill in. The only other orders are two spec jackups and they will not be cancelled since they have all the money in place from a bond issue.

More orders are coming. And they will all use Varco equipment!

Not a damn thing has changed in deepwater. I will talk a little about this in my weekend newsletter.
