Interesting post from Yahoo---

Singleton may have been a very skilled man at what he was hired to do, just not the right man (or men) for the job. There may have been a poor chemistry between him and the rest of the company. Sometimes that's all it takes. It was likely that he took whatever fall was wanted by the BOD for the remaining board members' need to feel they've improved their company's math. They probably have with this change in people.

The company where I work hired a very skilled general manager a couple years ago, and he lasted only a year and a half. As capable as he was, (and he was) the president and he didn't see eye-to-eye on other, more intangible things, and he was fired. He left behind several accomplishments from which we still realize the benificial effect.

I think we optomistic (long) investors need to help spread the word.
1. Mention this company to all those we know, call cable TV automotive programs and ask them if they could do a piece on the Turbopak.
2. Get our city councils to start asking questions about cleaning up the soot from OUR transit buses (and mentioning this company as the easiest way to go about it, of course!).
3. Call your local TV stations to see if they'd be willing to do a piece on the company as a special interest feature, since pollution cleanup is a noble thing, and it might get the TV station some positive attention as well.

Can this situation be helped by a grassroots effort from those of us who know the company's potential? I think it can. The results should be only positive. I learned about this company just a few short months ago, and as soon as I began discussing it with others, several of them investigated it for themselves and invested! They beat ME to the punch, so I got in soon after that, at what I thought was a reasonable price. I am willing to see what happens with this company over the next couple years, and will probably buy more on dips as I have cash to do so.

Play this stock day-by-day if you wish, and I hope you make money if you do, but Turbodyne longs will also do very well, IMHO.

DD <--in for the long haul

I want to suggest we stop the speculating right now !

IMO Singleton was brought on board to lead the company through some challenging financing efforts which had to take place during January to June. It is a fact that the company will be securing ongoing cash equity through an equity investment by a major OEM soon. The other fact is that the Turbodyne cash flow situation has improved in the last 6 months and the expectation is that the company will make a some small amount of profit for FY98. Singleton and Turby simply decided to part company.

What was left for Singleton to do ? - Nothing, therefore he left. I doubt he was dumped. He just left. Thanks John, but we'll see you later.

The current downslide is causing another golden buying opportunity.
