Who is selling shares? Yesterday and today? With all the "good" news that is supposed to be coming why would anyone sell at these prices? I'm very confused.

not necessarily because the whole game is getting people to pay more than what you buy for, so if the volume goes crazy like you said and people keep chasing it, they make their money selling much higher, they will keep the spread wide sell at the bid as long as they are covering those with higher sells.
